I paint about my life through a vocabulary of architecture and shapes. The action of painting allows me to reflect upon and process events in a singular that teaches me about my life. Sometimes the work is entirely non-objective because it is reflection on a single sentence or event. Other times representation enters my work often replacing a member of my family or life event as some amalgamation of architecture. Most simply put, my pictures are my prayers, my realizations and sometimes my anxieties as I move through life.
